Hyderabad: Reserve Sub Inspector killed in road accident at Medipally

A Reserve Sub Inspector was killed in a road accident at Medipally on the city outskirts on Monday after a lorry hit his motorcycle from behind. The victim died on the spot, and police have registered a case and launched an investigation

Hyderabad: A Reserve Sub Inspector died in a road accident at Medipally on the city outskirts on Monday.

According to the police, N Raghupathi (59) was riding a motorcycle from Uppal towards Annojiguda when, on reaching Naralapally masjid, a lorry hit his motorcycle from behind. “Raghupathi suffered serious injuries in the incident and died on the spot,” Medipally police said.


The police, on receiving information, registered a case and started an investigation. The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.
