Hyderabad: RGI Airport police arrests man for human trafficking and cheating
A man, Satyanarayana, from West Godavari, was arrested at RGI Airport for luring a woman with a job offer in Muscat. He provided her with a tourist visa and cheated her. Immigration authorities handed her over to the police, leading to his arrest
Hyderabad: The RGI Airport police on Sunday arrested a person involved in human trafficking and cheating.
A Satyanarayana, a resident of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, had lured a woman, Lankapally Mary, to take a job in Muscat and had cheated her by providing a tourist visa and other documents.
The victim was questioned at the RGI Airport by the immigration authorities about the purpose of her visit to Muscat and on coming to know that Mary was going for job purpose illegally, they guided her to RGI Airport police.
On a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Satyanarayana. He was remanded.
