Hyderabad: Rotten chicken seized in Bharatnagar, supplier arrested
The H-FAST team seized 352 kilograms of decomposed chicken in Bharatnagar and arrested a supplier accused of distributing spoiled meat to local hotels despite an expired licence. Officials said the illegal operation posed serious health risks to consumers.

Hyderabad: In a crackdown on food safety violations, the Hyderabad Task Force (H-FAST) team allegedly seized a large quantity of rotten chicken in Bharatnagar and arrested a supplier involved in its illegal distribution.
The accused, identified as Suraj Pal (66), was allegedly storing and supplying spoiled chicken to local hotels despite his license having expired.
Following a tip-off, officials raided the premises and recovered around 352 kilograms of decomposed chicken from him.
Police said Suraj was operating in violation of food safety norms, posing a serious health risk to consumers. The seized stock was disposed of, and he was taken into custody and later handed over to Sanathnagar police for further investigation.
