Hyderabad: Rowdy-sheeter dies by suicide in Kulsumpura

Family members of the rowdy-sheeter, Umesh, have reportedly told the police that he might have taken the extreme step as he had slipped into a depression due to family issues

Hyderabad: A person against whom a rowdy sheet is maintained a Kulsumpura police station died by suicide at his house on Sunday night.

The man, Hatyal Umesh, (35) stayed with his wife Swetha and their children at Keshava Swamy Nagar in Kulsumpura. A rowdy sheet was opened against Umesh in 2011 after he got involved in criminal activities.


On Sunday night, the man went into a room in the house and hanged himself to the ceiling fan. The family members of Umesh reportedly told the police that he slipped into depression over some family issues and might have ended his life.

A case is registered.
