Hyderabad: Rowdy sheeter hacked to death in permit room at Bandlaguda

A rowdy sheeter identified as Nayeem from Yellandu was hacked to death by unidentified assailants at a wine shop permit room in Bandlaguda under Nagole Police Station limits. Police suspect old enmity and gang rivalry behind the murder.

Hyderabad: A rowdy sheeter identified as Nayeem from Yellandu in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district was brutally hacked to death at a wine shop permit room in Bandlaguda under Nagole Police Station limits on Monday night.

According to police, a group of unidentified assailants chased Nayeem and attacked him with sickles and knives. He reportedly entered the Supreme Wines permit room to escape, but the attackers surrounded him and attacked him with liquor bottles and kitchen utensils before hacking him to death.

The Nagole police are investigating. They suspect old enmity and gang rivalry to be the motives behind the murder.

The assailants, who allegedly arrived in a car, are being identified.
