Hyderabad: Rowdy sheeter Mohd Asad, seven associates arrested for attempt to murder
Balapur police arrested rowdy sheeter Mohd Asad and seven associates for allegedly kidnapping and attempting to murder a man over a financial dispute in Shaheennagar. Two suspects are absconding. A separate vandalism case has also been registered against Asad.

Hyderabad: The Balapur police arrested rowdy sheeter Mohd Asad, along with his seven associates, for allegedly attempting to kill a man at Shaheennagar. Two other suspects involved in the case are absconding.
The arrested are Mohammed Asad (32), a rowdy sheeter of Kalapather police station, Mohammed Jahangir (23), Farhan Nawaz (26), Mohammed Sayeed (19), Mohammed Altaf (27), Mohammed Iqbal Mohiuddin (42) and Quddus Basravi (30). Two others, Saif and Mohammed Imran, are absconding.
According to the police, on Tuesday night, Asad, along with his associates, kidnapped one person, Syed Mohiuddin, from Sultanpur in Balapur police station area on pretext of discussing a financial dispute. “After reaching the place, Asad, Jahangir and others attacked Mohiuddin with a knife and snatched away his wallet and money,” said DCP Shamshabad, B Rajesh.
On a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the seven persons. The next day, Asad reached Kalapather police station area and vandalised a shop belonging to one Siddiq. The Kalapather police had also registered a case against him.
