Two men stole Rs 2.98 lakh from a scooter dickey in Shankerpally on Friday. A CCTV video shows them committing the theft and fleeing, even as a police vehicle was nearby. The cash belonged to a local businessman who left it unattended
Hyderabad: Two property offenders took away Rs 2.98 lakh in cash from a scooter dickey at Shankerpally on Friday.
According to the police, a businessman had kept the cash in the dickey of his scooter and went to work when the two people came on a bike.
“The two people kept a watch on the surroundings for a while. On getting an opportunity, he took the cash bag from the dickey and escaped,” said the police.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the two offenders are seen committing the theft even as a police vehicle was nearby and escaped from the place.
