Hyderabad: SBI celebrates ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’

Hyderabad: State Bank of India (SBI) Hyderabad Circle organised Cycling and Walking for their staff at PV Gnan Bhoomi, Necklace Road, as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations under the theme of ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’.
The staff members participated in large numbers in the event. Earlier, during the fortnight, the bank had also conducted sessions on Yoga and Zumba at their local head office for the health and fitness of their staff members.
Chief General Manager, Amit Jhingran called upon all staff to take up fitness exercises such as Yoga, walking, aerobics, cycling, etc., on a regular basis and make it an integral part of their daily routine for upkeep of their health and well-being and be a part of movement of “Fit India”.
PnB organises Fit India Freedom Run 2.0
As part of the nationwide campaign ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ Punjab National Bank (PnB), Hyderabad hosted a Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 at Indira Park, on Gandhi Jayanti. Several senior officers, including Sanjeevan Nikhar, Hyderabad zonal manager, DGMs and AGMs of the bank took part in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeevan Nikhar appreciated all the participants and said the bank has conducted the virtual/physical run pan-India on September 11, 25 and also on October 2, while adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines strictly.

Under ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, Government of India conducted ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’ from August 13 to October 2, with the theme ‘Jan Bhagidari se Jan Andolan.’
