Hyderabad scholar Shreeya Lakkapragada wins prestigious Harvard scholarship

Hyderabad scholar Shreeya Lakkapragada, 22, has been awarded the 2026 Louis and Ida Tatelman Scholarship at Harvard University. A Dexterity scholar, she previously attended Wellesley College on a full scholarship and was accepted by five leading universities for postgraduate studies.

Hyderabad: Shreeya Lakkapragada, a 22-year-old scholar from Hyderabad, has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Louis and Ida Tatelman Scholarship at Harvard University this year.
Shreeya, who has been trained under Dexterity’s National Scholar Development Program (NSDP) since her high school days has been selected as the only student at Harvard University this year for the 2026 Tatelman Scholarship.

In 2022, as a high school student in Hyderabad, Shreeya was accepted to America’s prestigious Wellesley College on a full scholarship worth Rs. 2.7 crores to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Shreeya graduated from Wellesley College in May 2026 and is now pursuing her postgraduate studies at Harvard University.

Earlier this year, as a Dexterity to College Fellow, she was accepted to all five of the world’s leading universities she applied to for postgraduate study: Harvard University, Oxford University, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania and Johns Hopkins University. She finally decided to attend Harvard University.
