Hyderabad: SCR to run additional Maha Kumbh Mela special trains to clear extra rush

In order to clear extra rush of passengers participating in the Maha Kumbh Mela, the South Central Railway (SCR) announced four additional Maha Kumbh Mela special trains between various destinations

Hyderabad: In order to clear extra rush of passengers participating in the Maha Kumbh Mela, the South Central Railway (SCR) announced four additional Maha Kumbh Mela special trains between various destinations.

Accordingly, Train No. 07079 Charlapalli – Danapur will depart at 3 pm on February 5 and February 7 while Train No. Danapur-Charlapalli will depart at 3 pm on February 7 and 3.15 pm on February 9.

The special trains will stop at Jangaon, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Macheriyal, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, and Ara stations in both the directions.

These special trains will consists of 2A, 3A, 3E, Sleeper and General Second Class Coaches, a press release said.
