Hyderabad: Search for body of man who jumped into Musi at Chaderghat continues

Hyderabad: The police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams are making efforts to trace the body of a 42-year-old man who jumped into the swelling river Musi at Chaderghat on Monday evening.
Mandugula Kiran Goud had parked his vehicle on the Chaderghat bridge and jumped into the river around 5.30 pm. Local people tried to rescue him but he was washed away by the strong current.
The police said his body has not yet been traced and search operations are continuing. The police, who contacted his relatives with the details gathered through the vehicle registration number, came to know that he had lost his wife to cancer four years ago and had reportedly been struggling with depression since her death. He is survived by two sons, aged 18 and 20.
