Hyderabad: Security guard arrested for allegedly molesting software engineer

Gachibowli police arrested a security guard for allegedly molesting a 24-year-old software engineer while she was boarding a cab at Indira Nagar. The suspect allegedly pulled her aside and kissed her before fleeing after she raised an alarm.

Hyderabad: The Gachibowli police arrested a security guard for allegedly molesting a 24-year-old software engineer while she was boarding a cab at Indira Nagar in Gachibowli.

The suspect, Rajkumar, a native of Jharkhand, allegedly approached the woman, pulled her aside and kissed her on Tuesday.

When she raised an alarm, he fled the spot.

Based on the woman’s complaint, the Gachibowli Police booked a case and identified him with the help of CCTV footage.

He was arrested.

The police are now investigating the sequence of events surrounding the incident.
