Hyderabad: Senior scribe injured in road crash dies in hospital

The victim, a native of Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, was working as a senior scribe for the television news channel located in Yousufguda.

Hyderabad: A 57-year-old news reporter from a vernacular news channel, K Ramesh, who was injured in a road crash at SR Nagar, died while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Monday.

The victim, a native of Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, was working as a senior scribe for the television news channel located in Yousufguda.

On January 17, Ramesh was driving his motorcycle from Umesh Chandra statue junction towards old SR Nagar PS side, when he was hit by a rashly driven motorcycle that was coming from the opposite direction.

Ramesh suffered grievous injuries and was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Ameerpet, where he succumbed to injuries. The SR Nagar police are investigating.
