Hyderabad: The Chaitanyapuri police caught seven transgender persons on charges of creating a public nuisance at various public spots across the limits on Friday.
Officials formed special teams and raided several hotspots between Dilsukhnagar and the Chaitanyapuri metro station.
The teams conducted surprise raids within the limits and caught transgender persons who allegedly were exposing their bodies, making obscene gestures in public and creating nuisance.
Police warned persons harassing pedestrians and motorists by creating public nuisance and extorting money.
