Hyderabad: Seven-year-old girl found dead in Madannapet
A seven-year-old girl, Sumaiya, went missing while visiting her grandmother’s house in Madannapet. Her body was found in a water tank on the terrace the next day. Both her hands were tied, and police are investigating the suspicious death
Hyderabad: A seven-year-old girl was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a house in Madannapet on Wednesday.
The girl, Sumaiya, along with her mother, had gone to visit her grandmother’s house located at Madannapet, Chawni Nade Ali Baig, on Tuesday and went missing. The police, on a complaint, registered a case on Tuesday night and started efforts to trace the girl.
While the teams were searching for the girl, the child was found dead in a water tank on the terrace of the house on Wednesday evening. Both the hands of the girl were tied to the back, raising suspicion that some persons might have thrown the girl into the water tank. The police are investigating.
