Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries wins Energia Award for best environmentally friendly mining and solar manufacturing

A statement released on Saturday revealed that the award was presented to Singareni Director (E&M) D Satyanarayana Rao and General Manager of Coordination S D M Subhani by Ghan Shyam Prasad, Chairman of the Central Electricity Authority.

Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited(SCCL) was presented the prestigious Energia Award for the best environmentally friendly mining and solar manufacturing company at Visakhapatnam.

According to a statement issued here on Saturday, Central Electricity Authority chairman Ghan Shyam Prasad handed over the award to Singareni Director(E&M) D Satyanarayana Rao and General Manager Coordination S D M Subhani.

Singareni Chairman and Managing Director N Balram said receiving such an award at the national level was very inspiring and that Singareni would continue to promote environmentally friendly mining and also produce solar power on a large scale.
