Hyderabad: Siva Sivani celebrates 60th foundation day

The SSGI was the first to offer the whole range of academic programmes from kindergarten to doctoral studies in Telugu speaking states.

Hyderabad: The Siva Sivani Group of Institutions (SSGI) commemorated its 60th foundation day here on Tuesday. The SSGI was the first to offer the whole range of academic programmes from kindergarten to doctoral studies in Telugu speaking states.

The programme started with homage to its founder– late SP Sampathy and SSGI president and chief executive, Aarti Sampathy spoke about the history and journey of the SSGI and congratulated the staff and students for their involvement in the successful academic evolution of the institution.

Guest speaker Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pro Chancellor and Principal Director, Symbiosis, Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar spoke about the journey of Symbiosis, her stint with the education system and the parallel between the initial establishment of SSGI and Symbiosis. SSGI Deputy, chief executive, Sailesh Sampathy, associate vice president Deepika Sampthy, faculty and staff of the SSGI also participated in the programme.
