Hyderabad skater Nayana Sri Talluri wins three gold medals, crowns herself national champion for fifth straight time

Hyderabad’s Nayana Sri Talluri dominated the 21st National Short Track Speed Skating Championship in Dehradun, winning three individual golds and a relay bronze. The performance secured her fifth consecutive national title as her family seeks institutional sponsorship

Hyderabad: Nayana Sri Talluri bagged three gold and a bronze in short track speed skating in the 21st National short track speed skating championship at Dehradun.

Nayana claimed gold in the 500m, 1000m, and 1500m events and a bronze Medal in the 3000m mixed relay.

Nayana has now become a five-time consecutive National Champion, further cementing her position as one of India’s finest short track speed skaters. She is also the national record-holder in the sport.

“We are certainly looking for the State Government and even for Corporate support to let Nayana pursue goals at the highest level,” her family members said.
