Hyderabad soaked, as overnight showers bring chill to the city
Moderate overnight showers brought relief to Hyderabad and nearby Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts, with Gajularamaram recording 60.8 mm rainfall. The rain led to chilly, overcast conditions across the city early Tuesday morning.

Hyderabad: Several areas in Hyderabad surrounding districts of Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri witnessed moderate overnight showers between Monday midnight and the early hours of Tuesday.
Under the impact of moderate showers, which ranged from 60 mm to 20 mm, the majority of the areas in all the three districts experienced chilly and overcast weather conditions on Monday morning.
The majority of the rainfall between Monday night and Tuesday evening took place in areas falling under Quthbullapur and other regions under Medchal-Malkajgiri district. The Gajularamaram area recorded the highest of 60.8 mm of rainfall, followed by Gayatrinagar in Quthbullapur, which received 34. 8mm.
The rainfall ranged from 34 mm to 25 mm in several regions, including Kukatpally, Rajendranagar, Marredpally, Balanagar, Mettuguda, Bowenpally, Ramachandrapuram in Sangareddy district, Picket in Cantonment area, Yousufguda (Khairatabad), Hayathnagar, Bansilalpet area under Musheerabad, Allapur Vivekananda Nagar in Kukatpally, Banjara Hills (Shaikpet), Bholakpur in Musheerabad etc.
