Hyderabad: Upset over love failure, a man allegedly died by suicide in his hostel at KPHB on Monday night.

T Mahender (25), a software employee from a software firm in Hitec city, was staying in a mens’ hostel in Hitech City. He was reportedly in love with a woman from the same neighbourhood. He did not inform the elders about his love.

Recently, her marriage was fixed with another person, due to which Mahender was quite upset and hanged from the ceiling fan in his hostel room. He left a note saying sorry to his parents for his decision.

The KPHB police are investigating.
