Hyderabad: Sarvodaya International Trust, Telangana and AP Chapter commemorated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation’s play ‘Kasturba’. The play which was produced by Begum Razia Baig, designed and directed by Mohammad Ali Baig and featured Rashmi Seth as Kasturba Gandhi and Vijay Prasad as Mahatma Gandhi, was viewed by over 4,500 people.
They also conducted a singing competition among the children of government schools under the Project 511 schools. The competition was under two age groups. The event attracted about 180 entries. The virtual competition was held over two days with Rama Bharat and octogenarian Kamala Thyagarajan as judges and supervised by Preeti of Project 511.
