Hyderabad: Deccan Dynamos FC produced a commanding performance to defeat Shastri FC 8-0 in the TFA B-Division Shivkumar Lal League Championship at Gymkhana Ground. Md. Sinan, Govind (2), Bravin Bhaskar (2), Ganesh, Shivabalan, and Sai Charan were the scorers. Meanwhile, TFA announced that trials for Santosh Trophy shortlisted players will be held at Gymkhana Football Ground on November 17 at 7 a.m.
South Central Railway Women ease past BITS Hyderabad in basketball league
Hyderabad: Fresh from their gold medal triumph at the All India Inter Railway Basketball Championship 2025, South Central Railway Women defeated BITS Hyderabad 58-34 in the Level-I Annual League Basketball Championship for the G.M. Sampath Kumar Trophy at YMCA Secunderabad. Harini (26), Durga Devi (15), and Subashini (10) starred in the win.
Nizam Basketball Academy defeat Victory PG in men’s category
Hyderabad: Nizam Basketball Academy overcame Victory PG 88-65, with Balaji (16), Charan (16), Majid (15), and Kaushik (12) leading the charge. For Victory PG, Vamshi (16), Balu (15), Sriniketh (14), and Dhanush (13) fought hard but fell short.
Tripura edge Hyderabad in U-23 one-day cricket
Hyderabad: Tripura secured a three-wicket win over Hyderabad in the BCCI Under-23 Inter-State One-Day Tournament at Jaipur. Hyderabad posted 215 in 48.2 overs, with Pranav Varma (53) and Nitin Sai Yadav (41) contributing. Tripura chased down the target with 219/7 in 49.3 overs, thanks to Durlab Roy’s unbeaten 52 and Tanmoy Das’s 48.
