Hyderabad: A student was killed while his friend survived with injuries in an accident at Masab Tank on Friday night.

The victim Avinash (25) along with his friend Abhinay (26) were going on a Pulsar bike from Mehdipatnam to Lakdikapul when the incident happened.

“Avinash was driving the bike at high speed and lost control over it. He rammed the bike into the divider and both fell on the road. Avinash died on the spot while Abhinay sustained injuries,” the Humayunnagar police said.

The police shifted the injured person to hospital while the body was shifted to mortuary. A case was registered.
