Hyderabad: Students injured as private school bus overturns

Several students were injured after a private school bus overturned on Shamshabad Road, Hyderabad, following a high-speed collision by a car. Around 60 students were on a picnic trip; local residents and police rescued them, and investigations are underway

Hyderabad: A few students of a private school were injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned after a car hit the bus at a high speed on Shamshabad road on Thursday.

The bus was carrying around 60 students of a private school for a picnic trip to Jalavihar, Hyderabad. On the Shamshabad road, a car hit the bus at a high speed from behind. Due to it, the bus driver lost control over the vehicle and the bus overturned after hitting a roadside barricade.

The local people and police pulled out the students who were trapped in the bus and shifted to the hospital for treatment. The students suffered minor injuries.

The police are investigating.
