Hyderabad: Around 120 students from Hyderabad and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts participated in ‘The iVision Youth Parliament 2026 – Telangana Youth’ conducted by Build a Better Future, an NGO, in collaboration with Ikshana Marketing and Telangana Recognised School Managements Association (TRSMA), here on Wednesday.
As part of the build-up to the main event scheduled for March 28, intensive rehearsal sessions were conducted for students of Classes VI to IX. The young participants showcased their strong grasp of civic issues, confident public speaking, and solution-driven debates. Their performance reflected not just knowledge, but also a sense of responsibility, critical thinking and awareness of societal challenges.
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the initiative aims to nurture essential life skills including critical thinking, leadership, communication, collaboration and civic awareness among students.
TRSMA president Sadula Madhusudhan said the initiative will be expanded to all districts from the upcoming academic year, with State-level finals planned in Hyderabad in January 2027.
