Hyderabad: Suraram school principal booked for knife attack on two men
A school principal in Suraram was booked after allegedly attacking a teacher’s brother and another man with a knife following a confrontation over allegations of harassment. Both men sustained serious injuries, while police are separately investigating the teacher’s allegations against him.
Hyderabad: A school principal allegedly attacked a female teacher’s brother and another man with a knife following a confrontation over allegations of harassment at a school in Pandu Basti, Suraram, on Sunday.
The principal, identified as Daniel Raj, reportedly picked up an argument with the two men after they questioned him over alleged harassment and misbehaviour towards a lady teacher working the school. The argument reportedly escalated, following which the principal allegedly attacked them with a knife. Both men sustained serious injuries in the attack and were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Police reached the school after being alerted about the attack and took up an investigation. A case was registered against the principal in connection with the assault.
Police are also looking into the allegations made by the teacher against the school principal.
