Hyderabad: Swachhata Hi Seva cleanliness campaign launched in EFLU
The university will conduct events on the campus and in semi-urban areas close to the varsity besides creating awareness among the public on cleanliness

Hyderabad: Swachhata Hi Seva 2024, a major cleanliness campaign, was launched at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) here on Saturday.
The EFLU planned various events at the university from September 14 to October 1 in its run up to the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2.
The university will conduct events on the campus and in semi-urban areas close to the varsity besides creating awareness among the public on cleanliness.
The university will collaborate with nearby local people in taking up neighbourhood cleanliness drives and also organise health checkup camps.
The faculty, students, and non-teaching staff took the Swachhata Pledge and joined the Swachhata Walkathon and planted saplings on the campus as part of “EkPed Ma Ke Nam”.
Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. T Samson, Registrar Prof. K. Narasimha Rao, Dean, Campus Planning and Development, Prof. Srivani and other senior faculty members led the walkathon on the campus.
