Hyderabad takes slim first-innings lead in Buchi Babu final

Hyderabad secured a 23-run first-innings lead over Tamil Nadu President’s XI in the Buchi Babu final at Chennai, with spinners Nitin Sai Yadav and Rohith Rayudu bagging three wickets each

Hyderabad: Hyderabad grabbed a vital first-innings lead of 23 runs against Tamil Nadu on the third day of the final of the All India Buchi Babu Invitation Cricket Tournament in Chennai on Monday.

In reply to Hyderabad’s first-innings score of 376, Tamil Nadu President’s XI posted 353, with spinners Nitin Sai Yadav and Rohith Rayudu picking three wickets apiece.


In the second innings, Hyderabad finished at 14 for one at close of play.

Hyderabad 376 in 115.4 overs & 14/1 in 10 overs vs Tamil Nadu President’s XI 353 in 138.2 overs (Radhakrishnan 98, A Siddharth 30, B Indrajith 50, Ajitesh 57, Nitin Sai Yadav 3/55, Rohith Rayudu 3/96).
