Hyderabad Task Force nabs vehicle thief, recovers five two-wheelers

Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force arrested a vehicle thief and a receiver of stolen vehicles, recovering four scooters and a motorcycle. The main accused was involved in five cases and sold stolen bikes to a trader in the city.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force on Saturday caught two persons who including a vehicle thief and a receiver of stolen vehicles in the city and recovered four scooters and a motorcycle from them.

Acting on a tip-off, the team caught Manjul Tushar (23), a resident of Borabanda who was stealing vehicles in the city. After committing the theft of motorcycles, Tushar was selling them to Mohd Waheed, a fruit businessman at Rajendranagar, said Additional DCP Task Force, Iqbal Siddique. Tushar is involved in five cases at Madhapur, Kukatpally, S R Nagar, Madhuranagar and Alwal.


Both Tushar and Waheed were handed over to the Borabanda police station for further action.
