Hyderabad: Techie injured in Gachibowli fire dies during treatment

A 23-year-old software professional injured in a fire at a Gachibowli residential complex succumbed to his injuries. The incident left 17 persons injured and several bikes gutted, with victims admitted to hospitals for treatment.

Hyderabad: A software professional, G Rajasekhar (23), who sustained injuries during a fire incident at Gachibowli two days ago, died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday night.

A total of 17 persons suffered burns and nine bikes were gutted when a fire broke out at a residential complex in TNGOs Colony, Gachibowli, in the early hours of Monday.

The injured were shifted to various hospitals for treatment. While 12 persons were admitted to hospitals for treatment, the remaining were administered first aid and discharged.
