Hyderabad: A minor boy, studying at a religious school was found hanging from a tree in Pahadishareef here on Sunday. He is suspected to have died by suicide.

The 14-year-old boy, a native of Bihar, had come to the city seven months ago and since then was studying in the religious school at Jalpally, where his two elder brothers are teachers. Police said, on Sunday morning, the teenager left the school without informing anyone and did not return. The school staff and his friends who realised he was missing went searching for him and found him hanging from a tree at a secluded spot behind the school.

The Pahadishareef police booked a case and are investigating.
