Hyderabad teen Samarth Sai shines at CBSE National Taekwondo Championships

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s Busa Samarth Sai won a bronze medal in the boys’ under-17 59-63kg category at the recently held CBSE National Taekwondo Championships in Panipat, Haryana.
Representing the South Zone, the 15-year-old Samarth was the only Hyderabad athlete to win a medal in the boys’ category at the championships.
A student of P Obul Reddy Public School, Samarth has been training under coach Deepak at Perennial Martial Arts Academy for the past four years.
Samarth’s previous best performances include a silver medal at the 2026 South Zone I Cluster Championship and another silver at the 2024 Thailand Open.
