Hyderabad: A teenage girl was reportedly kidnapped from Chandrayangutta, police said on Monday. The girl, identified as Umra Fatima (16), a resident of Bandlaguda, lived with her parents and siblings. On Saturday evening, she left the house saying she was going to visit a relative.
However, she did not return home till Sunday evening, following which the anxious parents checked with relatives and friends about her. Unable to find her, they approached the police late on Sunday and lodged a complaint, alleging that they suspected one Shahbaz of kidnapping her with the help of his friends. The Chandrayangutta police have booked a case and two special teams are investigating.
