Hyderabad: A teenager who suffered grievous injuries after the motorcycle he was riding hit a road median on the MG Road in Ramgopalpet, died while undergoing treatment here on Saturday.
The victim, identified as Naveen Kumar (18), a resident of Rasoolpura in Begumpet, was working for a hardware shop in Ranigunj.
Police said the incident occurred on Friday when Naveen was proceeding from his house towards Ranigunj. On reaching Mahatma Gandhi statue, he lost control of the vehicle while attempting to overtake an auto-rickshaw ahead and the bike crashed into the road median.
He suffered grievous injuries and was shifted to the hospital, where he died on Saturday. The Ramgopalpet police are investigating.
