Hyderabad: Teenager drowns in pond on city outskirts
Faisal, who is suspected to have drowned as he didn't know how to swim. His friends tried to rescue him, but in vain.
Hyderabad: A teenager drowned in a pond at Sun City in Rajendranagar on the city outskirts, police said here on Thursday.Police said the victim identified as Mohd Faisal (19) from Suleiman Nagar along with his five friends went to swim in the pond when the incident occurred.
Faisal, who is suspected to have drowned as he didn’t know how to swim. His friends tried to rescue him, but in vain.
The Rajendranagar police retrieved the body and shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
A case was booked.
