Hyderabad: A teenager was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his house in Chilkalguda on Tuesday night.
Naga Chaitanya (16), a resident of Chilkalguda was studying in the tenth standard at a residential school in Gajwel in Siddipet. He came to the city during Sankranthi’s vacation and since then been staying along with his mother.
On Saturday night, Chaitanya’s mother went to the house of their relative and when she returned on Tuesday night, the door of the house was found latched from inside. On not getting any response, she with the help of neighbours broke the door and found Chaitanya hanging to the ceiling fan.
“The family members suspect that Chaitanya might have hanged himself following some issues with a girl with whom he was in contact for the last few days. A case is registered and investigation going,” said Chilkalguda police.
The body was shifted to Gandhi mortuary where a postmortem examination was done.
