Hyderabad: Telangana Secretariat receives bomb threat call

Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed at the Telangana Secretariat following a following a hoax bomb call here on Tuesday evening.

As per available information, the Chief Minister’s Public Relations team had received a call from an unidentified person informing of a bomb in the premises.

They further alerted the Telangana Special Police Force (SPF), who along with the City Security Wing and Anti-Sabotage Teams checked the premises and confirmed no bomb.

It was only after the confirmation, authorities relaxed. Efforts are on to identify and trace the caller.

Meanwhile, the local police reportedly were not informed about the bomb threat by the Secretariat security personnel.
