Hyderabad: Ten-year-old boy dies after being run over by school bus in Jagathgirigutta

A ten-year-old boy died after being run over by a school bus in Jagathgirigutta, Hyderabad. The child fell while riding a bicycle near his home. A case was registered against the driver, and a postmortem was conducted at a government hospital

Hyderabad: In a heart-wrenching incident, a ten-year-old boy died after being run over by a school bus at Jagathgirigutta in city suburbs on Saturday morning.

Jayashith Chauhan was riding a bicycle near his house at Allwyn colony in Jagathgirigutta when he suddenly fell on the road. The driver of a school bus that came to pick up students in the locality, ran the vehicle over the boy, said the police.


The child was rushed to a hospital by the parents where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The Jagathgirigutta registered a case against the driver of the school bus and took him into custody. The police are investigating.

The body of the child was shifted to a hospital for postmortem examination.
