Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed in the locality after liquor bottles were allegedly found in a mosque in Miyapur during the Shab-e-Qadar prayers at Miyapur on Thursday night.

The incident occurred at Muzaffar Ahmed Nagar, when people assembled for prayers. As per available information, the incident led to arguments between two groups from different communities, who abused and accused each other.

The masjid committee members intervened and pacified both groups and informed the Miyapur police. The police are investigating.
