Hyderabad: Testbook.com announces scholarships for girl students
Selection will be through a scholarship test which will be conducted on March 20 and awardee list will be published on March 27
Hyderabad: Testbook.com, an edtech platform for examination preparation for public sector jobs, has announced scholarships for girl students under ‘Betiyan Banegi Memsaheb’ initiative to celebrate the women of India and encourage them to become government officers.
The initiative aims at removing possible constraints a girl student faces when preparing for a government exam like – lack of resources, lack of access to quality education, social barriers of moving out of home town for preparation and many more, according to a press release.
Selection will be through a scholarship test which will be conducted on March 20 and awardee list will be published on March 27. The awards of the initiative include more than Rs 40 lakh worth scholarships, 365 days of access to government-job preparation for a year for 1,000 women, HD tablets, 4G data vouchers for 365 days etc., it said.
“Through this initiative, Testbook aims to contribute to the full yearly expense of online exam preparation enabling girl students and women to prepare for online government examinations for a whole year using Testbook.com’s technology and quality content,”said Ashutosh Kumar, Founder and CEO, Testbook.com.
