Hyderabad: Burglars broke into a house at Rein Bazaar in the old city and decamped with cash and property.
According to the police, Mir Safdar Ali, lived in a house at Ganganagar nala located under Rein Bazaar police station limits. The family was staying at the house of their relatives situated at Moghalpura for the last few weeks and occasionally one of the family members would visit their house.
On Sunday morning, Safdar Ali had come to the house to check the premises and noticed the main door open and on going inside found the cupboard broken with cash and other gold ornaments missing. “The burglars had broken the lock of the house and entered inside the premises. After opening the cupboard they de camped with the property,” said sub inspector, Karuna Kumar.
Safdar Ali told police that the burglars decamped with Rs. 2 lakh cash, 2 tola of gold and 25 tolas of silver articles kept in the cupboard. A case is registered by the police and investigation going on.
