Hyderabad: Three arrested for murder of 34-year-old man in Upperpally

Rajendranagar police arrested three persons in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old man at Upperpally. Police said the victim was allegedly attacked following previous disputes. A knife, metal knuckle, two-wheeler, mobile phone and blood-stained clothes were seized.

Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old man at Upperpally that was reported last week.

The arrested persons were identified as Mohammed Iliyas (28), who was involved in one previous case, Mohd. Shoaib alias Soheb (22), who is involved in five cases, and Shaik Sultan (23).

According to the police, the incident occurred around September 24 near Shams Tailor Shop, Upperpally, when the victim, Waseem, was allegedly attacked with a knife and other objects following previous disputes with the suspects.

A person who attempted to intervene was also injured in the attack. Waseem was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but doctors pronounced him dead.

During the investigation, police seized a knife, a metal knuckle, a two-wheeler, a mobile phone and blood-stained clothes allegedly linked to the offence.

The arrested suspects were being produced before the court for judicial remand. Further investigation is under way.
