Hyderabad: Three arrested in connection with Falaknuma murder

Hyderabad: Three persons were arrested by the Falaknuma police in connection with the murder of a pan shop owner reported at Vattepally three days ago.

The arrested Shaik Mohd Ali and Shaik Osman are brothers while Shaik Akhtar Ali, is their cousin.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Falaknuma, M A Javeed said that the victims Mohd Majid and Mohd Ali stayed at Bandlaguda in 2018. Due to quarrels between the families of Majid and Mohd Ali , the former’s family shifted to Vattepally and were staying there.

“The mother of Majid had passed away while his brother was facing health issues. Mohd Ali suspected that the family of Majid was performing black magic and planned to kill one member of that family. On getting an opportunity, Mohd Ali along with Osman and Akhtar stabbed Majid to death on Friday afternoon,” said M A Javeed.

The police soon after the incident had formed special teams and nabbed the trio. They were arrested and remanded.
