Hyderabad: Three arrested in Rajendranagar for MDMA, ganja trafficking
Rajendranagar police arrested three men—Sangadi Santosh, Gandhi Sandeep, and Kandepalli Shiva Kumar—for trafficking MDMA and ganja. Drugs were procured via Instagram and transported from Bengaluru. Police also arrested three buyers and seized 18 grams of MDMA and 130 grams of ganja
Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police on Thursday arrested three persons and seized MDMA drug and ganja from them.
The arrested are Sangadi Santosh (26), a resident of Kakinada in AP, Gandhi Sandeep (23), a resident of Bengaluru and Kandepalli Shiva Kumar (23), a resident of Rajahmundry in AP
According to Yogesh Gautham, DCP (Rajendranagar), Santosh and Shiva Kumar were purchasing drugs from a source through Instagram and got the MDMA and ganja from Bengaluru to the city through private buses.
The source whose identity the police did not reveal sent the drugs to the city through Sandeep. “On Wednesday night, when Santosh and Shiva collected the ganja from Sandeep at Aramgarh cross roads, the Rajendranagar police caught them,” said DCP Rajendranagar, Yogesh Gautham.
The police, based on the information provided by Santosh and Shiva, also apprehended three persons who were purchasing the drugs from the gang and using them.
The police seized 18 grams of MDMA and 130 grams of ganja. A case is registered.
