Hyderabad: Three brothers convicted for Madhapur murder, sentenced to 10 years
A Madhapur court convicted three brothers for murdering their sibling, Devendra Prasad Mishra, in November 2016. The convicts were sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and fined ₹2,000 each. Madhapur Police had arrested them soon after the incident.
Hyderabad: A local court on Thursday convicted three brothers for murdering their sibling in Madhapur nearly a decade ago and sentenced them to 10-years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 each.
The convicted persons identified as Mahendra Prasad Mishra, Dharmendra Prasad Mishra and Birendra Prasad Mishra, all natives of Madhya Pradesh, had been staying in a rented room along with another sibling and victim Devendra Prasad Mishra.
In November 2016, a quarrel broke out among the siblings, during which the trio stabbed Devendra with a knife and a glass piece, killing him on the spot.
The Madhapur police arrested the trio soon after the incident.
