Hyderabad: Three detained in connection with rowdy sheeter’s murder
Rowdy sheeter Mohd Parvez alias Feroz alias Farru was attacked and killed on Tuesday night
Hyderabad: Three persons were detained by the police for questioning in connection with the murder of rowdy sheeter Mohd Parvez alias Feroz alias Farru at Rein Bazaar on Tuesday night.
According to the police, Mohd Parvez was going in a car when a group waylaid and attacked him after pulling him out of the car. The assailants had slit his throat using knives and daggers, killing him on the spot. The incident was near Chotapul in Rein Bazaar police station limits late on Tuesday.
“Farru was previously involved in 15 cases including two murder and four attempt to murder cases. We suspect that relatives of one of his victims are behind the murder,” said P Anjaneyulu, SHO (Rein Bazaar).
Soon after the incident, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary. It was handed over to relatives after autopsy on Wednesday.
A case has been registered and investigation is on. Police said a history sheet was opened against Farru at the Rein Bazaar police station in 2014 and later transferred to the Jawaharnagar police station in 2019 when he shifted residence.
