Hyderabad: Three persons were arrested along with 1 litre of hash oil, valued at about Rs 6 lakh, by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (South) team on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip off, the police caught Mohd Mahbub Ali (33), Mohd Sarfaraj (20) and Abdul Aslam (26) all residents of Sanathnagar. Two suspects, Venkatanarayana and Haji Pasha, are absconding.

Mahboob Ali was previously involved in two robberies and an attempt to murder case at Madhapur. The three had gone to Paderu in Visakhapatnam and bought the hash oil from Venkatanarayana, according to Task Force Inspector S Raghavendra.

The three along with the seized material were handed over to the Banjara Hills police for further investigation.
