Hyderabad: A tragic incident, a three-year-old girl was crushed to death when a tractor trolley carrying sand allegedly turned over at Medipally in Yacharam in the suburb on Monday evening.

As per available information, the accident took place when the tractor was crossing a culvert filled with water, causing it to lose balance. The tractor was carrying sand from Beerpur to Manasan.

The girl, Avantika, was sitting in front of the tractor with her father. As the tractor crossed the culvert, it lost balance and turned over. The girl suffered severe head injuries.

She was immediately rushed to Ibrahimpatnam Government Hospital, where she died while undergoing treatment.

Yacharam police have registered a case and are investigating.
