Hyderabad: Panic prevailed in Warasiguda after a speeding tipper truck allegedly went out of control and ran towards pedestrians on a busy stretch of road on Wednesday.
Alert passersby managed to jump to safety, narrowly escaping any possible injuries.
As per information available, the vehicle then crashed into a roadside huge tree, bringing it down and causing a temporary disruption in the area.
Following the accident, local residents detained the driver and handed him over to the police.
The Warasiguda police are investigating the circumstances that led to the mishap.
