Hyderabad to celebrate footwear heritage with 3-day national programme from Nov 28-30
Pleach India Foundation and FDDI Hyderabad are jointly organising a national exhibition and seminar on footwear heritage from November 28 to 30. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will inaugurate the three-day programme, which will highlight India’s rich footwear traditions, design evolution and craftsmanship.

Hyderabad: In a joint collaboration, Pleach India Foundation and Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) Hyderabad are conducting a national exhibition and seminar on Footwear Heritage at the FDDI campus from November 28 to 30.
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will formally inaugurate the event. The three-day programme will highlight India’s rich footwear heritage, craft traditions and design evolution. It will also feature talks by experts, designers and heritage specialists.
All students, researchers, designers, artisans and members of the public are invited to participate.
